### Legacy package upgrade prerequisite — v1.356.1

Some legacy Salesforce orgs must install iDialogue v1.356.1 before upgrading to a current release. This applies to existing iDialogue installs from v1.348 through v1.356 when Salesforce reports an error that includes:

> Salesforce has blocked this package upgrade because the new package version removes some Apex code that one or more Visualforce pages need...
>
> `Visualforce Page: idialogue_install`

If you encounter this error:

1. In Salesforce Setup, open **Installed Packages** and confirm that the installed iDialogue version is within the range above.
2. Install the v1.356.1 patch in the same Salesforce org. For evaluation or validation, install it in a sandbox first. During setup, choose **Install for Admins Only**.
3. Wait for Salesforce to confirm that the patch installation is complete, then retry the upgrade to the intended current iDialogue release.
