## Resume Intake & Review

Use Salesforce File processing to prepare uploaded resumes for summaries, questions, and configured structured
extraction while keeping recruiters, HR teams, and hiring managers responsible for review and decisions.

## How the components assemble

1. **Context:** attach the resume to the intended Salesforce record and provide the permitted related context.
2. **Document work:** read the PDF, Word document, image, or supported file; use OCR when the resume is image-based.
3. **Agentic workflow:** apply customer-defined extraction, comparison, duplicate-prevention, and record-action
   instructions.
4. **Outcome:** prepare a summary, review response, follow-up task, or permitted Salesforce record update.
5. **Control:** require human review and apply the customer's privacy, retention, access, and employment policies.

## Practical boundaries

This is a configurable document-processing pattern, not a packaged applicant tracking system, recruiting module,
universal resume parser, candidate-ranking service, or automated employment decision product. Do not infer or
generate protected characteristics, and do not make hiring decisions without appropriate human governance.
