# Getting Started

Install **iDialogue v2.150** in Salesforce, complete Quick Start, and prepare your first sales document workflow.
A typical first-time setup takes **15-30 minutes**.

## 1. Install iDialogue

Choose the Salesforce org where you want to install the latest release.

  <wa-button variant="brand" href="https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tal000007Dth1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Install in Production or Dev Org</wa-button>
  <wa-button variant="brand" appearance="outlined" href="https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tal000007Dth1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Install in Sandbox</wa-button>
</div>
For evaluation, install in a sandbox first. During setup, use <strong>Install for Admins Only</strong>.

## 2. Complete Quick Start

Upon install, open the "iDialogue Admin" app, click the "Quick Start" tab, and follow the guided connection steps.

    </video>
  </div>

### Admin checkpoint: Review the Salesforce API connection user

When iDialogue agents work with Salesforce, they use the Salesforce API connection user configured during setup.
That user's Salesforce permissions are the primary control over the records, data, and actions available to an
agent.

Before enabling your first workflow:

- Confirm that the intended Salesforce API connection user is configured.
- Review the Salesforce data and actions that user is permitted to access.
- Align those permissions with the workflows your team plans to enable.

This gives Salesforce Admins a familiar control point for agent authority while users continue their iDialogue
conversations without having to re-teach the agent or repeat earlier discussions. Document generation, OCR, image
analysis, and transactional tasks do not create conversational memory. Customer data processed through the
iDialogue-managed OpenAI integration is not used to train OpenAI models, and requested artifacts can live in the
secure iDialogue repository to help reduce Salesforce file-storage use.

## 3. Choose a Starting Document Workflow

After Quick Start, choose one sales document workflow to validate first: a proposal, quote explainer, SOW draft,
account summary, or onboarding handoff document. The Agent Gallery can provide implementation examples, but
the starting point should be a concrete document outcome.

</div>

## 4. Choose an Implementation Path

### Guided document workflows

For guided document workflows, update the Salesforce page layout and add the Lightning component where users
will collect inputs, review drafts, or run the document workflow.

    </video>
  </div>

</figure>

### Record-triggered document actions

For record-triggered document actions, add a <code>Run Agent</code> action to a Salesforce Flow and map the
record context required for the document workflow.
