OpenAI Priority Service Tier
Q: What is the advantage of enabling the OpenAI Priority Service Tier?

If you provide your own OpenAI API key for use in iDialogue agents, you gain two immediate benefits: • Additional logging and observability in your OpenAI dashboard • The ability to enable Priority processing
Note that the Priority setting applies at the project level. If you enable it, it affects all agents within that project. The tokens are also metered at a higher rate.
Priority processing is particularly well-suited for: • Customer-facing chat experiences • Knowledge base search • Real-time support use cases
It is generally not necessary for background workflows or batch-style agent processing, where latency and response consistency are less critical.
(Note: bringing your OpenAI key to iDialogue is optional. The core service runs in Standard service tier by default)
